About Us

More Than a Driving
School — Your Driving Partner

Safeway Driving School was founded with a simple belief: every driver deserves patient, thorough instruction that builds real confidence — not just a passing grade on the road test.

Located on New Jersey Avenue in Wildwood, we've spent over a decade serving students of all ages across the Cape May County area. Our instructors are certified, experienced, and known for their calm, encouraging approach — even on the days when parallel parking feels impossible.

We understand that learning to drive is a milestone. That's why we take the time to meet each student where they are, whether that's their first time in the driver's seat or their fifth attempt at the road test. No rush. No pressure. Just steady, professional guidance every step of the way.

Certified Instructors All instructors hold state certification and bring years of teaching experience.
Flexible Scheduling Evenings, weekends, and weekday mornings — we work around your life.
Safety First Dual-control vehicles, clean records, and a curriculum built around safe habits.

Student Stories

Hear From Our Drivers

Real feedback from real students who trusted us with their most important driving milestone.

I was terrified of driving — honestly, I thought I'd never get my license. The instructor at Safeway was so patient and made me feel comfortable from the very first lesson. I passed my road test on the first try, and I owe that entirely to them.

Mariana T. Teen Driver Program

After moving to New Jersey, I needed to get licensed quickly. Safeway made the whole process seamless — from scheduling to the road test itself. They even provided the car for my test. Professional, friendly, and efficient.

James R. Adult Refresher Course

As a parent, I was nervous about letting my daughter drive. Safeway put both of us at ease. They offered a parent orientation, kept me informed throughout the process, and my daughter now drives with real confidence. Worth every penny.
